This annual conference is organised by the Research Staff Association in collaboration with the Academy. It will be an in-person event, with opportunities for virtual participation during the headline sessions across the day. This year’s theme, 'Merseyvision: Empowering research visionaries' will include talks and panel discussions to help research staff consider how they can define, fine-tune, and enact their research and career visions.
Within that theme, talks, panels and workshops will focus on how research staff can acknowledge and build on their strengths and skills to help maximise their personal and professional development, as well as the research practice of every researcher employed at the University of Liverpool. The talks will be aimed at a wide researcher audience and be of interest and relevance to the broad disciplinary range of our postdoc community. Speakers will share insights from which postdocs can take away value for their strengths, skills, development and professional practice.
